Cascade Brewery is the oldest brewery in Australia. It is based in South Hobart, Tasmania. The brewery was founded in 1824 by Peter Degraves, an entrepreneur who emigrated from England. It is now owned by Foster's Group. The animal featured on the logo is the now extinct Tasmanian Tiger. Cascade produces a range of beers, homebrew, apple cider ('Mercury Cider' brand) and non-alcoholic beverages including apple juice, blackcurrant syrup & carbonated beverages. |
